Just changing my dash lights to match the illuminated Plasma dials, so here is the MGF Clock bulb on the left. BA7S. On the right is the Oil temperature gauge bulb - original T5 286 bulb and holder with an LED T5 replacement.
The T5 is also used in the MGTF and MGF dash for instrument light box illumination, dash warning lights and heater box illumination.

The T5 is also used in the MK2 F hi-level brake light. 7 of them.:yesnod:
If you want to use leds in this position, you will need to enlarge the apertures in the reflector. As standard, the t5 led bulb won't fit.
I enlarged the apertures with a 6.8mm drill.(That's the size I had), but a 6.5-7.0 mm drill will do the job.

What is difficult with these guides, is yes led's look so much better, but there is so much cheap tat out there you can't see the quality bulbs that don't fail after a month or so
