Jane Doe's carpet isnt sitting right and I think its because there isnt any foam around the window lifter ecu thats sat in the driverside footwell, then again it could be the carpets just rubbish, roll on a new one but that will probably be last thing to be fitted

these carpets need the surporrt the foam gives,and they needed the foam to be as good as new as old foam simply sags.
you can buy high dense foam from a local supplier and cut to shape so it surports the carpet.other wise it simply hangs.double sided tape and glue will not work long term.
get some car carpet fixtures.you can see them in the boot area of your car. you will have to drill some holes but the carpet will stay in place.
