Fuel smell

Fuel smell was created by Sharpy

I wonder if anyone can help, I posted earlier (I think), I have a smell of fuel I'm the cab, not very strong, I have found no obvious leaks and no change in performance. I have a 96 f 1.8 vvc. Any thoughts?

Is it there all the time or only when driving?

Could be the retaining ring for the fuel pump / sender unit

Didn't the early F's have porous tanks which made the car smell of fuel?

Have similar simptoms. MGF VVC 98
It is more noticeble when roof up.

This suggests to me that there is a leak around the throttle body after the choke adjusts.
