Now this one really hurts...
TT Mk3R exhaust, single exit lightweight exhaust. The purest TT you can buy, no second pipe, no dividing pipes, no restrictions.
Its designed for smooth gasflow and performance. No 3 of 3. Of the others, one is on the Team Cibie MGF Cup car and one is on Rob Bells Project Shed.
You simply will not be able to buy another, I'm not sure I want to sell it myself for this very reason. ( I had to beg Neil to make me one when he did the Mk3 rerun) I live in hope of getting another TF one day and no other exhaust would come close to this one.
Polished stainless, stanless flanges. F fitment, but I have an F cat and decat to allow it to go on a TF too.
It is LOUD. Not as boomy as the other TTs, its a slightly higher pitched sound, a tiny bit like a MK2 Escort rally car (ish).
You are going to have to talk me into selling this to you with a big wodge of cash and a written statement that you will love and care for it.

Maybe I'm being a cynical old goat....but how can these exhausts be worth so much? Any exhaust fabricator could build that, a straight through silencer with the relevant bits to connect it...not rocket science, noise doesn't equal performance I learnt that with my mini 1000 when I was 17!

Sacrilege :spank:

You either love them or hate them, and if you love them you buy them, which as so many do love them, there is a ready market for second hand ones

Basic economics old chap ;)

Which only confirms what i said earlier. Second hand TTs come on the market more than any other brand so that "ready market" is constantly being fed by people who sell them on again for being to loud. Your right Jan you either love them or hate them, me i dont hate them I think they sound great but only on other peoples cars. Too loud for me having to listen to that noise for the length of the journey.

Never heard a Mk 3, but regarding TT 7 cruising noise, I find it more than civilised at motorway speeds, with no drone.

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..
