MGTF 85th Anniversary model - 2009, in intense cassis with white graphics and matching aubergine leather seats. There were only 17 85th Anniversary models manufactured in aubergine, so this is a truly special car. TF85th original car mats and aluminium 85th gear knob. Windstop and tonneau cover included; also additional spare tyre. Uprated Bilstein suspension, air con, heated door mirrors, parking sensors (all original features in this model) FSH - serviced by MG dealer. All paperwork, spare keys, TF original key ring etc.... What do you think it should be priced at? I've run through a number of valuations which ranged from £8,400 to £5, 400, so I took the midpoint. However I'm happy to discuss with anyone interested?

I was wondering if the Ad has to many zeros! nice car but think it may take some shifting at that price. :bang:

well it's an '09 iirc, low miles, only 50 of them, and 17 in this colour.. to an enthusiast then yes that's a reasonable starting point, you can't value it as just a TF if that's what you're after. there are others for sale asking far more, you'd have to compare condition on all of them.

I think the issue you are up against is a quick search of Flebay shows the top price for a TF as £7999 (1) then down to £7500 but these are being sold by dealers with warrenties, as a private seller the person buying will carry that risk and therefor the price will be lower.
Good luck with the sale, if I had the money I would be looking for that color, they did the same on the 75th edition and it was always on my wish list.

On eBay they range from £5500 to £7000.... to get nearer the top price it will need to be absolutely pristine....

I fear the lower amount however is more realistic..... the problem we face with selling our cars is the wider public think they are terrible unreliable heaps - which of course is no more true then other cars... no matter how good they are everyone wants a bargain!

Lots of good pictures and a REALLY details description would help a lot.
