actually she just needs a 16" wheel just so she can use the car now as she split the tyre and bent the rim (thanks to our ever glorious roads), she has a 2004 anniversary.

thanks for pointing that out clive!

OK mate. I will keep my ears and eyes open. Is it just a wheel to get her going, i.e. not too bothered about kerbing etc?

don't think so as long as tyre holds air, but the better condition the better :) apparently she has the space saver kit but that isn't of much use when a tyre splits, thanks again!

This any good Frank...I know Rome is still a long way from you, but I don't know if postage would be easier (and cheaper)?

I'm also assuming an MGZR wheel will fit ??

Try the MGF centre in the midlands, they break up MGF's and TF's and usually have a good stock, you will have to be specific for the exact type as so many different style of wheels have been used. also consider the purchase of a spare (steel) wheel and tyre. the inflator kits are a waste of space and as you say of no use whatsoever if the tyre is split!! hope this helps. morning frank,

if you can source a wheel from the UK ie ebay etc and sort out a courier, i'll happily act as a pick up point if the seller will not ship abroad

just let me know if i can help :yesnod:

ps if you need a tyre removing before sending, no probs:)

no longer needed, met her today and saw the wheel, it's repairable so I gave her one of my spare 16" to use while repairing her wheel! sher has a very battered anniversary, weren't these anniversaries numbered? as she seems to be missing the numbered badge can she find out what number it is? Thanks

Maybe be able to find out from the MG register if you send them the VIN.
