I orginally put these links in Adam's thread when he had trouble with his door - Of course in haste to help I forgot the passenger side does not have a lock Barrel - Doh!

So I thought I woud put this info here just in case someone had the same trouble with the Drivers Side lock.

I Found these clips of You tube using something called Auto Jigglers. I had a quick search and found this UK supplier. I have no connection with them they were just first UK company in a Google Search.

I just thought it would be handy to keep this info somewhere.

Would these work with cars that have an EKA code I wonder?

I thought the EKA was to allow the engine to be started by turning the key Left and Right you set a special code and then you can also start the engine with the emergency key. Do you also need one to get the lock to open too?

These will not obviously help there, and you wouldn't want them to or any old reprobate/hoody/scumbag could buy a set of jigglers for £24 and have any car away.

The purpose of the thread was if you have your key but the Lock buggered up on you and you cannot unlock it with the buttons or the key part, these jigglers will allow you to pick the lock. Pressing the button on your key will deactivate the immobilsers and alarm as normal and away you go. Lets hope no-one ever needs to find out. :nonod:

As far as i know the EKA code will allow you to open the door and unlock the immoboliser so the engine can be started using the normal key :slapme:
