So you might have done it by accident or inherited a door card with a missing trim clip holder.

This means no matter what you do your door card will not fit right and will flap about.

So what do you do about it?

My solution was use some araldite putty. You can get a blob of this from any shop, usually about a fiver and it is cracking. You mould it into place then it sets like metal and fixes anything.

Both clips setting with the araldite. Just left em 30mins just be sure.




It sets like screws but it didn't damage anything.

I'd recommend to anyone.

Araldite is incredibly useful! Fixed one of the drawers in my kitchen with it on Saturday. Have used it to repair a hand-held fan, earring tree, hair band and various other bits and bobs too.
