demon tweeks im sure you have been on there allen, they have a few pages of rose joints,if you made a bar up male one end and female the other end so adjustment is possaible,I guess the limiting factor would be the amount of room on the subframe end.as it goes into a box section.
I had a tf in a while ago with a simular set up.he told me he had a pair made up.and they worked.

Rose joints tend to have limited movement of their axis

These arms sit at am angle.. Not square to the subframe

I'll have a chat with Guru Pitka when he's back in the country... I'm sure there must be a solution.. But I don't think M12 rose joints are the answer..

Im not clever enough to work out the loads on this arm.. and which direction the forces are applied..

But my guru will be able to have a look

I know on the buggy I managed to bend the arm in the threaded section :omg:

Rose joints are plenty strong enough but the cranked angle is the problem

I could buy an M12 rose joint I suppose and see how much it will rotate on its axis

I opted for the custom route..

Had a pair of inner arms made that now take M12 heavy duty rose joints..

Now I can swap rose joints out instead of replacing the whole arm due to the non serviceable ball joint set up

Just as a slight addition to this informative thread, the inner bush still isn't available as a service item, it remains a case of buying a complete arm (or going the custom route as per DDs very impressive effort).

My '96VVC needed one TCA for it's MoT (nothing wrong with my ball joint but some lateral move, ment in the inner rubber bush). I ended up on the phone to MGBitz (I have used them before for good used parts). He has promised to end me one for £20 delivered. While new ones are only £90 plus delivery from Rimmer Bros it might look like false economy but funds are tight this month and this will get me through an MoT and suffice until such time as I am flush again.

See this HOW TO for a working solution to the inner bush issue.
