Volume valve exhaust.
If some1 knows where to find this exhaust valve disconnecting thing on a reg 2005 car pls let me know.
Im lost cant find it.

Lift the boot lid and on the right side there is a body lug with an 'ole in it. That's where the gubbins for the exhaust valve used to be located. Not fitted on the last cars: ours is a Feb 06 reg.
It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

Posted 11 years 3 months ago #125036Other place to check is under the o/s rear of the car, on the exhaust if there is no diaphragm for the air pipe then you won't have it.
Its weird, the '04 TF I have now hasn't got one, my last '04 did have one and if I remember Ben's '53 reg TF doesn't have one...

Posted 11 years 3 months ago #125042I know on my other 04 car I just unplugged it at the electrical plug end, the valve defaults to open when unplugged.
