Bugger! Wish I had seen this before doing my own re the welded shrouds!
Oh well, I can report that the JB Weld glue is still holding the halos in place no worries!
Brilliant job either way.

No consolation Ken but I only just finished this a few days ago in time for the Bromley Pageant today.....I am sure the JB Weld will be fine...and also sure it would have been easier for me to do it that way..What I didn't say was I trashed one set of lights doing it my way which I could have avoided using glue instead of wire.

A quick follow up to this thread...just passed the MOT test with these DRLs....a clean pass, no advisories....
