Well after having a set of Quads sat in my garage collecting dust for well over 2 years it came the time to try and repaint them and hear are a few pics of my efforts and thanks to JAC114 AND BENSWELL for their advice and pointers on painting
not yet finished but got the first coat of base paint on and I dont think they look too bad :woohoo:

nice job, well done indeed spraying with aerosols isnt as easy as it looks sometimes.. especially with metallics, will be good to see them fitted

Yeh I think the key is to just take your time with the prep work and try and get all the imperfections out of the primer with the wet and dry

Damn! The pressure is on now. 2 Quads on and one set in my garage. Its going to be a LONG wait for me.

You should get them on it does not take long really,I think i need to seal the inside of mine they are letting in a bit of water but I seem to remember them doing that last time I had them fitted and a bit of pound shop black silicone sorted the problem :woohoo:

I might get round to swapping the light one day but what i would really like is some of the chrome rings in this pic I have never seen them for sale tho? I also like the boot badge in the pic any ideas nothing on ebay
