Any suggestions?
I noticed this fluid on my rear drivers side wheel. It doesn't smell of anything and isn't sticky:-? I have recently got two new rear tyres so the wheel has been off nut nothing untoward. From what I can feel and se it is on the outside only.

I would pop the wheel off and have a look... there's not much behind there apart form the hub nut - it could be rust loosened by the previous wheel removal just mixing with water from the wet weather.

It looks like tyre fitting bead wax.

Just wash it off.

Could be that someone painted some goop on the hub to prevent the wheel sticking.
