MGF/TF Workshop Software - New Build was created by psymon

I've put up a new build of my software.
Major new addition is keeping track Parts and Jobs.
Installer instead of Zip File

And single click to open items (David Aiketgate) instead of Double Click.

As per the earlier versions, Updating will overwrite your Car details and you'll need to update the how to's

Let me know what works and what Doesn't. What you like and don't like and any feature's you'd like to see.

Grab it here MGF-TF Workshop Companion

PS. I Know the Icon isn't right on the Desktop or Taskbar in Windows 7

Its not working for me (but nothing does with stupid windows 7) I will try it later on an OS that works (XP) but for now if it means anything to you - this is my error message.

Great Idea. I'll add them In. Adding other how's is on the long term list. I'm also adding them slowly my self.

Came across mention of this on another website totally at random! Found it here and think its very useful. Thought I'd bring it back to everyone's attention Simon!
I'm good with databases (not Access though) but wondered if it was possible for a user to change the interface eg: order Jobs by date carried out or mileage rather than alphabetic?

This is how I'm using it:

I've created 3 sub jeadings for the work carried out by previous owners, work done by me and work that I WANT to do! Ideally I'd like to order the lists by the date they were done so I can see what was done in what order. As much history of the car as I know about...

Now that the site is up-to date and the winter evenings are drawing in, Expect to see some movement on this again.
Check out the MyMG Car Maintenance sub forum for more details as I go along.

Out of interest can you remember where your saw it mentioned?
