Now the Pipercross Viper is installed I want to add some scoops to the side vents.

Where can I get the fibreglass scoops that are shown in the 'how to' in the My MG Workshop application please?

I am also going to 'Trophy' my headlights black. Do I need to use any particular paint due to the heat generated by the lights?

Thanks.

Got mine from Ebay- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rover-MGF-Air-Vent-Scoop-Intake-Extensions-Pair-/260727015373?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cb48a87cd ,if you fit them drill a small hole in the bottom of the scoop to stop them retaining water in the bottom.
Also have done the headlight mod, Halfords satin black spray will do nicely, the heat is not an issue as it's not enclosed in the bulb area,

Make your headlights into MGF Trophy headlights by dismantling the lights and respraying the inner surrounds black or your car colour.

The insides of the Trophy headlights are black instead of reflective as you can just make out on this picture

It makes no difference to the light output, but looks a lot better, as 'Quad lights'

It's a easy job, but you have to take the front bumper off,

I think it is. :)
Having a black car that simple mod should be very effective.
If I have to go to LHD headlights to meet Canadian regs it will be done sooner than later.
Regardless, it's going to be a very busy (and fun!) year. :woohoo:

As I've got the bumper off for the lights I thought I may as well sort the splitter out too ;)

I spoke to Moto-Build yesterday.

They have scoops on their website, but not on their eBay shop because of issues with the other guy who sells scoops. Their spliter is on both the website and eBay, but is cheaper on eBay

I called them up and pointed this out and got both for £100 inc postage :woohoo:

Going to get the paint for the headlights after work and the splitter and scoops should arrive Thursday. So painting tomorrow and installing splitter and scoops on Thursday, hopefully ;)
