At work we have two types of tahiti blue, which my car is!
One is Tahiti Blue and the other is Tahiti Blue Pearl, as far as i can se on the net tho, the two colours have the same paint code, but should there be any difference? The only thing i can think of is that the Pearl version is a two stage paint and therefore a metallic like my car.
Can anyone advise me, cus if not i might just give in and spray them black!!

Ill check if we can cross refer that code and if w can then im sure i can do you an amaaaaazing deal lol least i can do after you sorted me out :yesnod:
Now piano lack has been mentioned im not sure whether to go body coloured or not. I suppose if i went black then less chance of the Tiger seal showing up if it "splooges" out of the sides when i bond them.......hmmmmm decisions :CJJ:

Pearl is a metallic version with almost metallic 'flakes' in
Example
Example
Notice it changes colours slightly and a very reflective finish.
Silvers go well with tahiti blue pearl as well!
This was what my tahiti blue car was, and what im 99% sure the Fs are as well.
Tahiti blue is a colour used on on older rover cars I think
It is a solid colour, and lighter than pearlescent tahiti.
Compared to my old tahiti blue 25 you can tell it isnt a good match

If you have a metallic finish then don't spray the side scoops pearl because they will react differently in the light.
The big difference is price...A pearlescent paint can cost almost another thrid of the price of metallic.
(Interestingly, or not.....In the seventies they introduced 'MetalFlake' which was big bits of reflective flakes. This gave a very glittery finish. If you have seen a lot of custom cars/hot rods, a lot of them were 'Metalflake')
