Help us get googled!!!!!!!!
If you search "MGF forum" (UK pages only) we are on page 7 of Google.
If you search "MGTF forum" (UK pages only) we are on page 4 of Google.
The forum is doing brilliantly and in order to continue growing and becoming more well known amongst F/TF enthusiasts we need to boost our Google results! This is where I call on you guys & gals for help! Basically this forum needs you! We are nothing without our members! :piratebang:
There are a number of ways you can help your community:
- Google looks for reptition of keywords so instead of typing "F" or "TF" type MGF or MGTF
- Tag your threads - your threads are a helpful source of info for MG owners & search engines pick up on these, so make sure to tag threads with keywords, for example, my paint codes guide has been tagged with "MGF paint codes", "MGTF paint codes"
- If you have The T Bar bookmarked then please change your bookmark so that you are going via Google to The T Bar... I know this adds a few seconds but it will boost our google rating!

P.S. Alternative bookmarks to go via:
- If you have an MGF: http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&cr=countryUK|countryGB&safe=off&client=firefox-a&channel=s&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&hs=Nra&q=mgf+forum&start=60&sa=N (we are the 7th result down)
- If you have an MGTF: http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&cr=countryUK|countryGB&safe=off&client=firefox-a&channel=s&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&q=mgtf+forum&start=30&sa=N (we are 9th result down)

Ah yes I've just had a look & we are appearing on the 2nd page when someone searches 't-bar.org' - as far as I'm aware the only way to increase how we appear closer to the top of the list is to keep searching 't-bar.org' then clicking on our link. I'm still learning about SEO but I think that's the way to do it.

Go to your post, scroll down until you come to a little window labelled 'tags'. In the top right hand corner there is the edit tag button. You can then add tags as you see fit.CJJ;3022 wrote: Oh that's good.
