Body Kits Yes or No

Wouldn't go for a full bodykit...

Although this one looked promising till it was all painted up and then for some reason it looked a bit pants. If the bodykit had extended to the air intakes like the X-Power car then it might have swayed me.

The only bits I would put on right now are the Seat leon front splitter and the JDL spoiler, both have been proved to work, the front splitter via peoples experience and the lip spoiler by the MG TF 200 HDP.

Would probably stop short of cutting holes in my bonnet and diverting the air up through them, I've seen a few of the cut out bonnets, each to their own but they disturb probably the only flat surface left on my vehicle!

The splitter was most first ever darkside mod and was well worth it :broon:

So body kit is a no, off to look at candy paints again, black/red cracked ice is in the lead at the moment B)

I think the body Kit would ruin the look of your mint F tho candy paint black n red would look quality!

Yes, thats very neat, i will be leaving mine in the unpainted black. It's a less noticeable, and if you scrape it you dont have to repaint.
Has anyone here done a "how to" I did offer it up and ith does need to be bent in a few mm each side and the 2 posts in the middle will need to be shortened . I was going to use self tappers to fix it, not very posh but it seems to work.
BTW, re the paint. It's your car and your money, so you can fo whatever you like. I did spray the MGb Mazfa Astro Purple back in 70s, but its back in BRG now.

Its all about personal taste. Just because one person thinks it looks daft or spoils the car etc, doesn't mean someone else thinks the same.

I hate Ricky Gervais, can't even have the channel on when he is on,. others love him. I like watching Eastenders, others don't. Makes us human. At the end of the day we are all one big community who own the same cars, no matter what.

If its your car, do what the hell you want to it  .

I put the Moto Build Racing splitter on mine - was a straight fit with no fiddling, although easy to do with the bumper off :yesnod:
