It is the little icon that shows next to the site name on the tab at the top of the page.

Ok here it gets even weirder.

If, when I pull up either my screen capture or yours, and then click in it to get the screen capture in a separate window, I do get an icon in the address bar of the new window. Except it's an icon of the screen capture in miniature.:dunno:

Thats normal, if you click on a photo or an image file http://www.users.on.net/~clarge/Photos/IMG_0025.jpg for example that image becomes the favicon for that page view. What I can't work out is why after clearing your cache you don't get the favicon associated with the page.

Do you know the tabs at the top of the browser page? On each tab you should have a name of the site, just before the name should be a very small icon. That is the favicon.

Mike, the wobbly red circles show favicons, the red squares show where there should be favicons.
