It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

The MG link was already in the question, they were the first and as far as I know the last royals to get an MG. There is also the MG Car Club of Victoria, Australia.
Anyway in this quiz you can ask any question as long as there is an MG link, even if it's in the question.
Ted it's over to you.

Actually I found that MG's will be/sorry were (past tense) present at Queen Victoria Car Show & Funday which was on 15th July 2012. Not sure if Queen Victoria herself was there?
Well, we have had Playstation questions, Sabrina (also in the Mark 1 Quiz) so, this requires just a little delving and considering we have just had Queen Victoria, we will continue a little along that road with a clue to the following name being contained in her memorial to Prince Albert and one of their offspring .
He was born in Yorkshire in 1900 and died in 1982.
He was a famous racing driver racing Bentleys, Lagonda, Rolls Royce and, of course, MGs. With girlfriend (later his wife) Joan he evolved an unusual racing technique for one and a unique, for the time, team for another event
The events mentioned above were 1933 BRDC 500 and Mille Miglia.
Question – who was this person and what, specifically, were the 1) unusual, 2) unique racing techniques.
Have fun :broon:

Here you can see Hall in the 1933 Ards TT, driving a supercharged MG K3 Magnette
The autograph on the photo above was dated 1934 by Hall who was then driving his famous Bentley
As for the unusual racing technique used in the 1933 BRDC 500 at Brooklands, with Hall, driving his works MG K3 Magnette, it has to do with a bit of team work.
At that time his girlfriend, Joan (later his wife) was acting team Manager, controlling the races from the pits. She worked out how slowly he could drive to win the race.
Although the car could do about 120 mph they planned to run it at 110 - 115 mph according to the race situation, leaving a margin of revs at the top end for safety. They evolved a novel method of pit control, giving only the simplest signals from the pit because the location of the pits was where drivers needed maximum concentration. They used the apex of an unbanked, righthand turn and another signal station where the driver had time to read the more detailed information displayed there. Two Boy Scouts with bicycles were engaged to ride across country between the two!
One by one the opposition's cars withdrew - going too fast for too long! Hall had one pit stop, organised by Joan, which was a model of precision - much faster than his rivals. When the last of his opponents had retired Hall slowed to 102 mph and maintained this until the end of the race! It was a very popular victory.
So on to the unusual team. Hall took part in the Mille Miglia in a K3 Magnette in the same year, partnered by his wife as reserve driver and mechanic. He didn't want a co-driver who would take some of the glory! They were unable to complete the race and had to retire due to mechanical problems. Mrs Hall was the first woman to take part in this race which was considered the most dangerous as it took place on roads which were not closed to ordinary traffic.
I also noted something unusual about the 'Team' in the 1950 Le Mans. Driving the Bentley pictured above, he was the first person to drive solo for the entire distance - despite having a co-driver in the pits ready to take over. When asked what the toilet arrangements were if he never left the cockpit for 24 hours, Hall replied "Green overalls, old boy!"
Very interesting character, thanks for the question Ted

Sorry SB the Pepper mill wheels cam in with the MG TF 85th Anniversary LE in September, 2009.
Tracy you earned yourself another slice of the pie :woohoo:
The 2010 Model TF135 was fitted with new wing mirrors. They were changed to ensure vehicle homologation compliance for sale in the EU. The mirrors are larger than the Rover 200-derived mirrors previously used on TF and MY2000 MGFs.
