Probably an incomplete answer but...
The connection is MG TA?

I know Kenneth Williams (oooooooooo Matron) owned one.
So I guess the other bloke is called Ken Williams and is a TA specialist/racer?

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

Carry on Paul!

Well done, it is indeed the much talked about, and wonderful raconteur, Ian Pogson who wrote of his experiences in China. Ian has been at Longbridge since the early 1980s on the Metro production and was in China with SAIC in 2005 when he heard he along with his colleagues there had lost their jobs back home as MG Rover had folded. Ian was asked with the others to stay on with SAIC in Shanghai, but since around 2007/8, I an has been back in the UK and has taken over as aftersales support and does a fantatsic job of looking after owners such as myself. If you ever get the chance to hear Ian speak at one of the MGOC/MGCC evening sessions he does around the country in his own time, it's well worth going along as he, and his stories of China, are as funny as the Carry On movies themselves.
