John and Sue wrote: My research showed, apologies if it is flawed, that the FB family garage contained a Merc 300, the Ferrari and an MGF of the original variety.

And I thought the Yanks couldn't import an original F until 2015. I presume you mean a TF

Alan - John was referring to the MG pictured in the still from the film. The MG has been suggested to be a MG F-Type from 1931-32.

Thanks for the question John.

OK here goes with the next question.

Simple really - Name the MG

504 were produced

I do apologise. I should have checked. I was mindful of the story that MG Rover forgot about the original TF when they named "our" TF which led me to believe there was only one MG F.

I think is a relatively easy question so I want to know the following

1.What is the event?
2. Where did it take place?
3. What was the date?
4. Who is in the pictured car?
5. Who provided the aerobatic display?
6. What was given to each car owner as they left?

It's designer thought that Tahiti Blue was the best colour and his own car was Tahiti Blue. I think that Tahiti Blue is the best colour for a F, not that I am biased in any way shape or form towards Tahiti Blue being the considered the best colour for a F

1. MGF first birthday party
2. Heritage Motor Museum at Gaydon
3. September 22nd, 1996
4. Gerry McGovern (MGF designer) and Anthea Turner
5. At the end of the day an aerobatic display was provided by Rover's own display team in their Extra 300 aircraft. Brian Lecomber and Alan Wade were the pilots.
6. As each MGF owner left the museum they were given a special birthday cake adorned with the MGF logo.

Well done MG Mad. Over to you.

It may be presumptious of me to disagree with the mighty Gerry McGovern and the even more mighty PQD44 but Alumina Green has to be the best colour to ever grace an MGF :P

BRG for me, or pearl black.

Anyway, what is the link to MG:

Name the two MG models.

If needed I have a couple more clues, but let's see if anyone can get it from that...

I thought it was too good to be true, typing ' Medusa MG Car ' in to google and the first result is Medusa Motorsport who do remapping for MG cars amongst others.

However their site list three MG models
MG ZR
MG ZS
MG ZT

Click here to view their remap prediction for the ZT 2.0CDTI 131

Ah well the search continues

I'd never heard of them before, learn something everyday :) That prediction I imagine wouldn't be unachievable given what the BMWs with essentially the same engine can put out.

Anyway, my question refers to a factory effort.
