When I say one MG, I should clarify and say one MG model... which was related, sort of, to this

One as already mentioned, The MG Metro 6R4 rally car (which did have a V6 that used a Rover V8 block with 2 cylinders cut off). The engine in this was later developed to power the Jaguar XJ220
(I miss Group B )
The other was the Tony Pond Rover SD1 Rally car.
But that's not an MG
This one has me stumped..
EDIT: Not stumped any more... I have found it. It was an MG Metro Turbo entered into the BTCC (OR BSCC as it was then) in 1984

Although just to be pedantic, the 6R4 didn't use a chopped down Rover V8, although the prototype did - the V64V engine in the 6R4 was completely new.

Hmmmmm I have to think of a question now...
This one should be easy...
What is this car's connection with MG?

Having to make changes to the MGB, BLMC embarked on a programme to explore the future of car safety technology, leading to the development of the Safety Systems Vehicle (SSV1) in 1972. Two years later, in collaboration with the Transport and Road Research Laboratory, a further five prototypes were developed under the Safety Research Vehicle (SRV) project.

2) Me, I took the top photo of it at Stoneleigh in the cow sheds one February years ago.
3) I used it on my website at http://www.kewengineering.co.uk/upgrades4mgs/Body/mgb_rubber_bumper_choices.html
That's not the answer you're looking for, is it?
2) Bryan Young
3) He put the new owner in touch with Simon as per this thread.

As the first photo was taken by you, then taken by me from your website, you have displayed a blatant disregard for rule 2c. I did expect you would display the common courtesy not to post.
Ignorance of the rules cannot be used as a defence and any further breach of the rules will result in the stipulated 5 point penalty and 1 month ban from the quiz.
