In the original photo-book insert for The Who's album Quadrophenia, a ZA or ZB Magnette is the car pictured with its window being shattered and then flipped over on its roof.

Just got hold of a couple of pics. I'm virtually certain its a ZA. It does not seem to have a "wrap around" rear screen

It's a close call but I believe it's a MG ZB. The ZB wasn't fitted with the panoramic rear window until 1958 and production ceased in 1959.

:nofight:

Well spotted Alan :broon:

Bumble was one of two cars originally prepared for racing by Roger & Judy Andreason.

The car has recently returned from France and was prepared for racing by another MG Quiz subject, Darryl Davis of Moto-Build Racing.

Not the first time one of their cars has featured in the Quiz, last time MGF Mark asked which races the famous car had won.

For a bit more info see this link and for details of its outing with Julius Thurgood at the wheel see here .

Simple one this time...

Registration number of William Perks MG?

William Perks ... you know the one Maxim magazine ranked No. 10 in the 'Living sex Legends' guide.

Not according to the photo I have Adam, although the year of manufacture is about right. I'm looking for the original registration.

Any chance you can post a photo?

EDIT: Oooo you edited your post while I was replying, that's the one..

Yes this was Rolling Stones Bass guitarist Bill Wyman's MGB

Well done Adam, over to you

If im honest, it was a long shot on google as no idea who William Perks is / was but ended up having William Perks referred to as Bill Wyman and then Bill Wyman owning an MGB to this pic here...
