Don't know if you are a long term keeper of your F, but if I had an F I would certainly think about bagging me a couple of these at £45 and keeping them stored safely. I don't think they make them anymore.

Saw them last week... it would be tempting however hydragas units can happily go on for 40 years plus (although obviously some fail) so not sure how much they would be used.

That might be so, but if my F was a long term keeper then I would hate for one to fail and not be able to get a replacement.

True - pity Christmas and credit crunch time or I might be tempted as a 'just in case' - spose like insurance that just hopefully sits in the shed. ;)
