Not a happy bunny!
Some of you are aware that we paid a deposit on said Wedgewood SE 'F' and waiting for the insurance cheque to drop on the doormat. Still waiting and the bottleneck is the 3rd party's insurers not releasing the cheque, so feel sorry for the seller but it's out of our hands.
Grumpy excuse #2
Wife called to say she has clipped the kerb in the hire car, our road is like glass! Car not safe to drive as the steering is cocked and pulling heavily. I told her to call the number on the card supplied, the people who dropped it off as part of the claim.
Turns out it is the RAC, they say it is under warranty still, call the AA.
AA say call Fleet Services as it has flagged up on our system to do so.
Called Fleet Services, they have no record of the car they dropped off! They say call Albany, who are the legal arm of Admiral. No answer.
4 hours later she is still waiting on a call to say who and when they are collecting it for repair!
All we want is the money to go pick the 'F' up and get shot of this bloody Punto!
Hence the grumpy mood!

A typical case of the left hand not talking to the right!
I feel a bit of a fraud as we haven't got the car yet! The seller has been ever so patient as well. Hope it continues.

Who'd want to buy a car made out of paper?
I drove it back last night when I got home from work, it is shot, diff or driveshaft issues. The company still didn't call so need to chase them up this morning. So we shall be one car less over xmas.
