Today i thought i'ds make a start swapping my AirBox for the later TF Airbox - No Dremmel Required if you take this route

Here's how i did it. (So Far)

First off getting access to the car. I find the easiest way is to remove the passenger door. This save the trouble of having to open and close it all the time during the job

Next job is to prepare to move everything out the way. Now this requires you to lean forward a fair bit. So got bored of this. This handy tip positions YOU at the correct angle for reaching all the nuts and bolts. Simply place the rear of the car on ramps and you'll find it much easier to lean forward and reach those nuts.

Next remove everything thats in the way, So that'll be, Dash Board , Peddle Box (Which doesn't resemble a box), Centre Tunnel, A Collection of ECU's , Heater Matrix, Countless Cables and Pipes from the interior

Moving to under the bonnet, Simply remove All the plastic work, Clutch levering thing and the big round Black Brake Doh Dah.
With all that out of the way you'll have access to the two screws holding the Airbox in.

If you're lucky like me you'll find that spanner you lost ages ago inside the air box (Result!)

Finally Stand Back and Admire A Job Well Done. :broon:

I'm guessing, looking at your car, you aint gonna be posting anymore removal tips! lol. My project was doing my head in, thanks for putting it into perspective! That's one impressive total strip down. No page 3 stuff there, we're talking full-monty!

Looking forward to seeing the re-build and final product. Any body-panel and trim questions are gonna be directed your way I fear! lol

SImons reshelling his F with my shell so I'm doing the same lol. Got the subframes to drop then its ready :)

Then to work out getting your shell down here for less than the current cost of an MGF

Now that is an interesting one  When Dave n Carl came to fix the TF HGF they have a "tow rescue truck" so that might be an option? :hugs: I can of course cut it with the grinder and send it you in small bits every day? :nonod:
