Grille Kit - Easy To Fit?
CJJ;6867 wrote: Yes. Yes, there it is.
My original point still stands though. What I was trying to say before Frank got all childish () was that if the kit was well made to original designes then it should be a doddle to fit. If however, it is just a piece of mesh cut to roughly the same size then it may be a bit more difficult.
Might be worth asking before buying.
Yankee doodle and out.

IMHO it was well worth doing :yesnod:
Ooohh, I dunno about that, It depends on the style of mesh & the colour of the car, I bought the genuine chrome effect MG stuff, it was on my car for no more than a week & I took it off & put the original black back on (but re painted nice n shiney)
Id say dark colour cars, shiney MG chrome mesh. Bright colour cars Black.

Have to agree.
Although I was thinking of black for the mean and moody look.

My car is silver so perhaps the chrome look would not work. I could always repaint the original grills black to restore them....................or paint them silver just to see the effect and if I did not like it then paint them black..........or maybe just leave them as they are.

 Nice one, I'm up for that. Will let you know how it goes.:bye:

We painted a silver F's grilles in chrome and I have to say it did look good. It didn't blend in with the silver as much as I thought it would. Having said that piano black might look quite swish as well.
Here are a couple of pics of the chrome painted vents:
