We have had continuous snow cover since December 19th.
Yep, we had a white Christmas Day, and Boxing Day, and New Year, and.......
The day I finally cleared the drive enough to attempt to get the car out, and then struggled mightily to get the Mg out onto the road, we couldn't get the car out of the village. We don't get gritting, ever! :shake:
:rolleyes2:Then that night we had another 4 inches of snow! So that was back to square one. :rolleyes2:
So since the 19th we have been depending on family in a 4 wheel drive to bring us provisions. We only had Christmas Dinner because they brought everything with them!:grouphug:
We had people skiing through the village yesterday, which was fun.
Below is the only use the F has had since the aborted attempt at freedom. Inspired by Gos.:hehe:
I've ordered a cheap set of steel wheels and I'm going to put some Mud and snow tyres on.
They reckon we're in for another fortnight of freezing weather, maybe until February!

But that is the main road to our village wending its way behind the great Oak, and then round past the White cottage, then skirting round the hill directly ahead, and then down a long steep hill with a 90 Degree angle bend at top and bottom. After that just a short steep hill down onto the A6.
And 30 minutes after the photo above, it was like this
:dunno:

Fantastic shots, but I do commiserate with you, even if I haven't see snow in about 3 years and its currently Sunny and 28°C here :awwyeah:
