Managed to get hold of a 52 mm throttle body, any How To's on fitting?

The ones I found seem to differ in calibration on test book or not! Is it a straight swap or not?

Thanks

its a striaght swap, very very easy to do, once you have the engine cover off its 4 10mm bolts that hold it on :)

you will have to reset the tps sensor though

its a realtive easy job undo clip from hose to tb ,undo the throttle cable then 4 bolts hold the tb on, unplug the TPS and as far as i can remember there is a small hose pushfit onto it that needs to be pulled off.

new tb on is the reverse of the above lol

Probably need to reset the TPS after that

as follows

Turn the ign key to position 2, press the throttle pedal to the floor and fully release 5 times in 10 secs. Wait 20 seconds then switch off ignition. Wait 20 seconds then start car. Idle should be 850.

Perhaps the above discription of reseting the tps should be a how too if there isnt already one

I saw an Alumna(?) green MGF down my road on Monday i think it was - there are a few F owners around..
