You can get ice cream from Wetheral & if you can't get to your house without it melting it's not a sports car you want its an invalid carriage!

Took Tif to Turbo Dave for a Cambelt change, and replace a rear wheel bearing. Turns out that sometime in the past, somebody has put one of the sprockets on the wrong way wrecked the threads in the camshaft and glued the bolt 😡😡. Luckily Dave always has plenty of spare so should have Tif back tonight.

Tif won’t be sorted tonight 😢. Latest issue the underfloor cooling pipes have sprung pin hole leaks when vacuum bleeding the system.. 😖😖😖
I was planning on changing them, but not straight away.

And the Saga continues even further, the n/s rear bearing had seized and nearly ground its way through the flange 😖.. but done now..

Just ordered 2 new rear tyres. As the fronts are nowhere near worn the rears have lasted 6000 miles. These were fitted new before I bought my TF 4years ago.
I've managed to track 2 EVENT tyres down on ebay for £102 delivered.

The Toyo proxes will have to wait a bit longer.

I have a pair of ZT/Rover 75 chrome door bezels which I probably will sell rather than fit as I'm not a great fan of chrome. I regret fitting the chrome door pins and have had an eye open for a black alternative.

I, however do like stainless steel woven mesh in my grills.

My first car had chrome bumpers, headlight surrounds and grill.

No longer with us I know. But I don't see the point in shelling out over £200 on a full set of Toyos, when the fronts are like new. For the past 4 years the TF has handled well with them. I just happened to find them on ebay at a decent price delivered.

When the fronts wear out it'll be a full set of proxes going on then

Decided to check out the silver bullet before its MOT. My son has been running around in it for the past year. New brakes and discs all round. Flickering brake light sorted. Rear chassis cleaned and painted. Front chassis holed in two places oops:oops: .Will need some serious welding. Gerry's going to do it tonight (Thursday )when he finishes his work. Looking forward to it already. Hopefully after that it should sail through.
Fingers and everything else crossed xxxxxx

Gerry's feet as he fixes brake light

New brakes and discs. Wheels in need of some work!!
