This is the kind of unit I bought, vary in price between 25 quid and 90 quid. Will try to get a photo of it in the car next time I go out in it.

Here is a picture of the Stereo head unit in my car.
The reversing camera is situated under the rear number plate, it was also from ebay and cost about 15 quid.

The unit does not play CD's but can play mp3 files from your phone via bluetooth, or from USB memory or from a micro SD card both of which can plug into the front. Being all solid state, its not that deep and fits in the TF radio slot nicely without any interference from behind. The electrical connectors are compatible and the unit just plugs in. You do have to add an extra wire to turn the camera on from the reverse light.
