I bought a special slotted socket to remove my Lambda sensors but ended up using an open ended spanner

I noticed that you don't have a heatshield over the exhaust manifold. Hopefully it was removed for the photo?
If it is actually missing I would advise fitting one as it gets very hot around there and will effect the alternator and add more heat to the bulkhead heatshield.

It's imposible to replace Len!

On the other hand to replace a sensor depends on the replacement. I bought two one was a kit version the other had a hard wired plug. The plug didn't match the fitted one so I used the kit.

I jacked the rear of the vehicle up, placed it on axle stands and slid under! The lambda sensors are accessible but a crowfoot span/socket is advisable. I removed the old one and installed the new one following the kit instructions. I had to cut the plug off the old one and wire into the new one!

Hope this helps, Dave.
