Halfords do an extra deep socket with a cut out for the cable, I almost bought one last week, but a spanner worked for me!

Crumbs Taff, your an engineer & you went into a place that sells tools & you “almost “ bought something, I can’t do that even when my wife’s with me !
I’m band from B&Q, Machine Mart, Tool Station, Screwfix etc.
There’s always EBay but by the time I’ve worked my way through few pages I’ve forgotten what I was looking for.

Alas I have no such restrictions on visiting tool shops, industrial machinery suppliers etc.
So I’m doomed to continue to aquire more tools……….finding somewhere to put them is the problem, gotta 4 car garage full of em, can’t get a car in there, and there are 4 small sheds full too……not to mention various large steel site boxes in the car port.

In the process of finding a new place.

Oh dear, have I struck a nerve, Ive been getting quite good at that recently.
I have often said that the best home for folk like us would be a nice house with all mod cons grafted on to an aircraft hangar with 3 phase.

That sounds perfect to me, trouble is if I had a aircraft hanger, there would be an airfield adjacent……. Then I’d start buggerisiing about with bloody planes!

Ive got a slotted socket for Lambda sensors so if Len wants to borrow my spare Lambda sensor he can borrow the socket too so long as he cover the postage and returns it to me
