Rest & Be Thankful

Took the TF out for a spin yesterday and ended up at The Rest & Be Thankful on the A83.
First time I've had a proper run since Kmaps waved the magic wand, so much more responsive

If it goes as we’ll as it looks then you’ve due cause to rest & be thankful. Obviously no land slips today, might they have sorted those problems out ? The contractors who repair the road must pray for rain & the accompanying problems but on a great day it’s a great drive & I’ve only driven it in the motor caravan.

Some years ago the was a service station just outside Morwell, it had a billboard out the front that said: “Fill up and be tank full”
I hadn’t thought about that for years, but Simondi’s post just reminded me of that billboard.
Funny the strange useless shit stored in the deep dark corners of the mind.

First time I've been there in ages when there haven't been roadworks.
I believe they are now looking at building another 'new' road
