What do the following characters mean:

E
B
4 I understand this means 2004 production

'M' tells you that it is a 1.6 engine, 'E' means it is 'K' series 16 valve, and the last 'B' means you have a right hand drive car.

It was a Cool Blue SE model in Trophy Blue with a Black/blue Alcantara interior

Actually I also belong to the MGOC and on there I can look up build details for any F/TF if I have the VIN, some people say never give your VIN to anyone for security reasons but if you look thru the windscreen on the passenger side its on display for all to see and it is the law to have it.
