Since I didn't have a clue what fixed on the original post, I drilled them out and used rivnuts ( had been waiting ages to use this tool) to thread lock some studding in and used standard wing nuts and a flat washer.

I’ve ended up with a BIG bag of 0ba nylon nuts which when given enough grunt go on nicely & remain so. When they fail, which is not unknown I chuck them away & get a fresh one.
Maybe if I had to buy genuine replacements I would not be so profligate, I would take leaf out of the Reverend’s book & invented a reusable system.
