How easy is it to access and change the starter motor. Can it all be done from under the car or does it also need access from the top ?

As you will see I went in from the top. It could be done from underneath, probably each has advantages/disadvantages...

Thanks David. I'l do the same. I couldn't make up my mind having read the description on the Rave disc as it started by mentioning removing the engine access panel but then went on to describe working from the side through the wheel arch. That got me scratching my head whether they hadnt meant the top engine cover and it was instead the shield panel that covers the alternator that had to be removed to give better access.
