Well the sun has started (in between the rain) to come out - so I am determined to get Felix back on the road!
State of play is...
Interior - stripped out ready for custom dash initial fitting (only taken me 5 years!)
Exterior - body needs a MAJOR clean and the side skirts fitting that I acquired a decade ago
- hood needs a good scrub and the lift motor checking for fluid before testing (worked last time I had it open last year)
- 17" alloys need a minor refurb
Engine - wouldn't start before Christmas - suspected fuel pump... no noise on first turn of the key - I am guessing seized due to being stood for a couple of years. Need to find a spare - will the one form my old F fit? Happy top open the pump nit and swap the actual pumps over.
Any info on the pump greatly appreciate... and watch this space!

I am not really looking to do it but what width wheels and which tyres are you using (215/40/17?) Do you have problems with the tyres rubbing anywhere?

It's good to see you back.
I'd always assumed those pumps were interchangeable but others will have to confirm.

Hi, Sorry been absent again! No issues with tyres - I can check what size as they came with the wheels when I did a swap for some standard 16s a while back (European laws meant no MOT with non-standard wheels apparently).

I'll nip up the shed and check the F one this week.

I'll definitely finish it by Summer - need to get the old guy back on the road! I guess I am gonna have to cut and sew a leather/vinyl dash cover for it all as no way to cover the joins otherwise.
