Alloy inlet manifold

Hi all,

I'm going to be fitting an alloy inlet manifold to my 1.8 ZR. On the TF there is a thin yellow air pipe that is connected to the inlet manifold, this pipe doesn't exist on the ZR. I will be plugging it off but what is this yellow pipe for ? I can't follow it on my TF, it goes into the engine bay.

I believe that pipe is for the exhaust solenoid valve on the tf, I have fitted an alloy inlet manifold on my F and just glued a piece of blank pipe over the end without any problems.

Yes, that's it, the exhaust valve, I will have to look at our other TF which doesn't have the exhaust valve, to see if it's blocked off or a different inlet manifold.
