Very much reccommended if you dont have it as yet: Roger Parker's Everyday Modifications For Your MGF and TF

Despite the title there is a vast amount of general useful information in there

Yes I have both of Roger Parker's books and have found them very useful.

We’ll my MGf book arrived this morning & although not in the condition one might expect if it were straight out of the motoring section at Waterstones, it doesn’t need surgical gloves to thumb through.
And it isn’t a picture book, there are words in it, a lot to be honest, which is to my liking.
It’s also a history book, going right back to the inception of MG, covers it’s ascendance, the significant models on the way, people involved, prototypes & it looks as if there might be other nuggets along the road.
It might be a keeper, if, after reading, I decided to keep it then I apologise to those who were lining up to line my pocket with some profit!
Of course if it doesn’t hit the mark I’ll let those who might be interested know & send it along.

I'm not sure how to take this...be happy that you are keeping me under consideration as a future maker of profit..or be unhappy that you have rejected its contents in order to pass it on...😟 😁😁

If things were straight forward, life would be so uninterested, to be kept guessing is a guessing game in itself. The fact that you are here means you have chosen a car less ordinary, that stands you apart from the crowd.
Because you have engaged me in conversation you have, in effect, laid yourself open to be bamboozled, to having the piss extracted & by having any contact with Cobber, to be insulted. We have all been subjected to that.
It has to be remembered that a lot of what I put up is tongue in cheek, sometimes my tongue is so firmly in my cheek that people think I have a speech impediment.

Don’t worry about Cobber he’s as docile as a slumbering antipodean drop bear. It’s when he’s fully awake that you want to hide in the dunny.

No point hiding there, under the toilet seat is where the redback spiders hide waiting to bite your flabby pale dangley bits! and I'll know where you are as your agonised yell of alarm will betray you!
