This release includes adjustment of the idle stepper motor and reset of adaptations for the MEMS2J ECU.
There are also quite a lot of changes to the protocol stacks "under the hood" which are needed for some features that we have planned for future releases.

Almost all of the ECUs that we support have been re-tested but we don't have a Jatco or EPAS ECU to test so if there are any problems with those ECUs it would be useful to find out quickly.

Details of the previous version are here .

Just found out my pscan won't work, getting message saying "Out of date FTDI driver 03.02.07 Please upgrade". How do I do this?

The current version of the FTDI driver depends on which version of Windows you have.
There are links to all of them on this webpage http://pscan.uk/install/windows.html

The other problem is there are some customers who are still on the old pscan.eu software. The upgrade sometimes works and well and sometimes doesn't. The solution is to create a new empty folder c:\pscan.uk and start again with the software from here http://pscan.uk/install/install.html

Thanks for the advice. The computer is running Windows XP so perhaps safest to stop with the old driver, at least it works once the connection was checked. Bearing in mind that pscan will only allow two downloads (to two different computers) would not downloading a newere version alongside an existing version rather than replacing count as second download and so block an attempt to put the program on a second computer?

No, the newer version and older version, if they are in different folders on the same computer would still count as one computer.
You can even get a second drive and put Linux on it or another version of Windows, providing that the hardware doesn't change it ahould be recognised as being one computer.
Additionally pscan always asks you before "registering" an unknown computer so one of your allowance of two won't be used up without your permission. If it doesn't ask it means that it doesn't need to take one.

The only caveat you should be aware of if your software is really old is that the interface firmware has been updated a couple of times over the last four years.
New software will always update to the newest firmware and this would stop old software from working as there's no way to go backwards.
I would really encourage you to update to the latest version though.
There have been a lot of features particularly for Rover 75 and Freelander and nothing has been taken away.
Your interface is fully supported and if there should be any problems with software or firmware then they will be fixed.
There's really no reason not to update and get all of the latest features.
