Have been fitting the nice shiny stainless steel sump baffle today as the weather was pretty decent for a change.

It's now bolted onto the oil rail

Tomorrow I need to seal the sump back up, but I also have to take the bonnet in to get sprayed up.

I hope so. It's cost me about £270 so far. :slapme:

However, it is the sump that got the Queens best silver treatment.

Before.

During.

After.

Not sure wht but the dishwasher smelt a bit of petrol after. ;)

Dunno if this will work with petrol smells but try this tip....freeze a carton of concentrate orange juice and with the washer empty, run a whole load cycle with the frozen orange juice (just the contents, not the carton) in the dishwasher. Its supposed to have taken the odours out. :yesnod:

Just washed the dog in it Oil smells gone but it smells of wet dog now. :nonod:

Actually I had one of those dishwasher cleaning bottles that you put in upside down and run a 65 degree wash. Everything is good once more. :yesnod:

'Shine bright like a' Clive?

Been getting your thang on to Rihanna? Under your umbrella -ella -ella? Or gazebo even?

I have a teenage granddaughter with a noisy iPod: that's my excuse.

Grandma Sue is distraught that the Bay City Rollers are no longer chart-toppers..... And that several Beatles have apparently died.

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

I wished I had skipped parenthood and gone straight to grand kids . Which you can hand back when they get miserable/awkward/smelly etc. Research in genetics shows that this is unfortunately not possible.

I often wonder, 'innit, whatevvvvver' etc why my granddaughter speaks like she's from Essex when she was brought up in in Nottnum. Or why she turned at age 11 from a sweet angelic thing into a spotty hormonal Evil Creature that wants to paint her bedroom black and hates absolutely everything.

.....except Grandma or Grandad who occasionally drop her off at Skool in a daft blue car, which is apparently ' well keeeewwl''

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..
