Our fleet
My first car, MG Metro 1300, now 1440cc with modified head, cam extractor, full exhaust, 1.5:1 roller tip rockers, 45DCOE, Turbo ARB, Turbo wheels, Turbo front shocks, individualised rear suspension. Bought it in 1998 and still have it.
Our first joint purchase, 88 Mk2 Metro Turbo, had since 2007
My wife and her first MG, a 98 Abingdon 1.8i. Now has 285H cams, modified big valve head, VVC plenum, modified exhaust manifold, "sports" cat back system and Emerald. She bought this 3 months after we met, in early 2007.
Dunno where the photos of the car all nice and clean are, but anyway
My Midget, my favourite toy. Bought this as an ex-california car in 1999, rough as guts but straight body, good engine etc. Made the money back on the engine, bonnet and front guards, then fitted VVC K series. Over time that developed to include modified big valve head, Jenvey DTH T/B's etc but that wasn't enough, so now has an Eaton M45 giving it a little more poke. Everything modified to suit, double wishbone/ coil-over front suspension with adjustable camber, tramp bars and Frontline RTL rear, MGF discs and Metro 4 pots front, MGGB drums rear. 3.9 LSD, Toyota W58 gearbox, 14" minilites. Conversion done 2001-2002.
My wifes sensible car, ZT-T V8. Currently standard, cos I'm broke. Bought in 2009, on the road in NZ April 2010
The Germany wheels, also currently standard ZS 180. Pity the anthracite colour doesn't come out well in photos, much better looking in the flesh. The red Monaco seats don't really suit it though.
My rally car project prior to being turned into several much smaller pieces. Have momo race seats, LSD, close ratio, straight cut gear set, about 3 engines in pieces and some the Jenvey DTH t/b's off the Midget to go on, but need a competition hard top first.
I don't have a picture of Jennie's BGT, but it looks a lot like this:
Plan is a TVR Speed 6 powered MGCGTS lookalike, apart from the engine will all be period looking stuff. That's a way off yet though.

Nice work with the MG's I wish that 'other' car of ours was a ZS instead. I might have to do something about it but the ZTT is a more practicle option but in the wifes words we would be 'downgrading' as our vectra is 07reg.

I have the misfortune of having a ZS180 as a daily, the F and the T16 maestro being toys.
Home to black Alfa Romeo 159 3.2 V6 Q4 ,green MGF VVC and red MG Maestro T16.
MG - the friendly marque.
