Bennos MG TF 135 project
Hi all i picked up my beautiful mg tf cool blue edition 2 days ago.
its 3 owners last owned it for 6 years and apparently did noting in terms of maintenance.
its full of rust in the usual places but the engine is mint and has only covered 78000 miles.
the few jobs i have already done are...
new spark plugs
new air filter
sorted out stereo wiring as it had blown fuses
jobs that need doing are...
subframes need taking out and powdercoating
sills need some repair but overall not that bad
new wings and rear arches doing
front brakes
undersealing
any way here is the car
and the back

and todays progress after snapping alot of rusted screws and swearing
wings are scrap they are paper thin under all the filler, so new wings are going to be ordered and re sprayed with the front bumper
however the inner arches etc look totally rust free

a bit more progress has been made now, after looking underneath the car pretty much all ball joints and track rod ends are shot.
the brakes are probaby the originals i have never seen so bad.
anyways i popped the front subframe out and taken it to the powdercoaters, its being done dark purple
also my new wings and front bumper have gone to paint shop so there will be a large update soon with the full front end being sorted.
