Trophy Splitter and Headlights was created by polo

Last week, whilst I was off work, I had a go at the Trophy Headlight conversion. I followed Sam's 'How To' and it worked out pretty well.

I got given a Trophy splitter a while back and had the car in to a local Body Shop over the last few days to get is sprayed to match the car (MNX) and fitted.

I am over the moon with the results. The MGF looks so much better IMHO with the Trophy lights and splitter..!!

BEFORE

AFTER

I am tempted by the Trophy rear spoiler now..!!

Lol I don't think anyone's looking at the hedge with that gorgeous splitter fitted!

Am sorely tempted by the splitter... will have to mention it to family as a potential chrimbo prezzie! How much are they? :)

Thanks Paul! :)

Hmmm... when you picked up your splitter was it packaged? Because if it was it might well be worth sending it via Parcelforce.

I picked up my splitter from a forum member who had one surplus to requirements - 'twas very kind of him to give me it for free.

I can collect them from Newark for £48.00 but it will not be packaged. I suppose I could see about packaging it - nose bleed time..!! Will have to find someone to package it for me..!!

They are selling from the supplier for £65.00 - £70.00 usually.

Or alternatively there is one HERE with bidding starting at £29.99 + £6.99 P&P - just dont let on that it is not a rear boot spoiler..!! :pmsl:

Didnt fit them in the end..!! Got cold feet as the bloke at the bodyshop wanted to take off the mesh to spray them and said that he couldnt guarantee that it would go back on. As it matches with the front mesh I didnt want to lose the mesh!

Me thinks its a DIY spray job.
