Hi all this is my mgf project getting under way.I found this car in a vickers garage i was fitting some flooring in hes hall way(im a joiner by trade)he said he needed to go out and left me to it .he gave me the keys to the garage said the wood flooring is in there and would be back in a few hours. So i went to get the wood and sore the mg .All the tyres flat covered in dirt so when he got back i ask about the mg .it had been there for 2 years meaning to get it insured & mot but never did and hes wife wants rid of it .so i asked how much 600 he said, was thinking that sounds good the next day i poped round and give him 400 put a new battery on pumped the tyres up and off i went to the jet wash.Got a bit of ear fall of the wife lol.after i tcut i could see it needed some paint doing more like a fall respray started thinking was it worth buying.the next sataday i booked the mot for 8am october 1st. sun was out looked like a nice day thinking it was going to need some work for the mot but to my surprise IT PASSED .i walked out the mot station with a big grin pop the roof down and off to look at some jobs. When i got home that day a i new this car was for me i loved it .well theres the story of my car so far hope i dident bore you to much. The car is now stripped down waiting to be paint in the new year

Nice tale, starts in a vicars garage, you can't do much better than that

 What are you planning on doing on this 'project' or are you just going to leave it mainly standard?

waheyy!!! You'll start off with good intentions of keeping fairly standard, but be warned, the darkside will beckon sooner or later!

Is this your first F/TF?
