So finally and after much delay i've got my electronic boot release fit kitted




Swapped the release button from the kit, for this much improved chrome looking one.




The major problem (for the electrician not me) was how to open the boot if for some reason the electronic release stops working. This has been solved with a manual cable (the green wire you can see) that can be hooked up through the vent in the boot lid and pulled to open. The boot lid will be getting painted to match the rest of car when i get the full respray, at which time i'll tidy up the installation and wire.




That ends stage 1 of my mods, a big thank you to all those of you who have shown an interest or commented. My mods so far stage 2, ariels body kit and respray, will probably be in the summer some time, Before then i have a stay at Combat Stress and some hard saving to do.
