What's your bargain buy
Pooped into the local breakers today after a switch and as normal came out with other bits as well, I saw these knobs fitted in a TF and on speaking to the owner he was unsure what they were so sold them on to me for £10.
They look well machined and I recon a bargain at that price. Anybody know what make they are?
Have you got a bargain buy recently?

Mike Satur. You got a bargain there. :broon: 35 notes new.
We have them in our TF. I satin blacked the webs in, which, IMO, improves the look.

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

I posted a pic ages ago. I'll take another if you can't find it in search. As regards the paint and method, I painted the flat webs between the knobbly bits and the edge if the base. I had some satin black enamel in t'garage already, but you could try one of those hobby small tins. The worlds your lobster regarding the colour, maybe body colour. I used a fine brush and did them freehand. Clean with thinners to degrease first.
I felt the same as you: a bit gangsta bling: the paint tones them right down.

My best bargain of my build I reckon is my a Merc SL500 Brembo callipers.. £25 each..
4x38mm pistons per calliper.. Aluminium and steel construction mean they weigh the same as an AP.. But fit to a 333x32 disc..
