North Coast 500
Dear T-Bar members,
I'd like to draw your attention (UK residents at least) to a new driving route known as the North Coast 500. There is an excellent web-site here: http://www.northcoast500.com/home.aspx
I know that some of you have come North before and we all know about Le Jog which uses part of this route but this is an attempt to provide a round route drive over very interesting roads and varied scenery. Yes, the tourist board is behind it (and I'm not associated with them in any way).
The Highland MGOC is planning to do the route in early May next year so I'll be able to give you a first hand report although I think I've driven all these roads before in sections.

Did it on the motorbike earlier this year. Kamikaze motorhome drivers and locals make some of the single track 'interesting'. Fantastic route though.
